Meet Mark S. Barrett, DDS

The Professional Side

Dr. Mark S. Barrett has had the privilege of serving the Zebulon community for more than 52 years. After graduating from the West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 1973, he moved to Zebulon, joined an established dental practice, and has remained at the same location throughout his career. Dr. Barrett has a special interest in crowns, bridges, partials, dentures, and complex restorative dentistry.

Deeply invested in the community he calls home, Dr. Barrett raised his family in Zebulon and has dedicated much of his life to serving both his patients and the town itself. Over the years, he has coached pee wee football and participated in numerous civic organizations. Since arriving in Zebulon, he has also been an active member of Zebulon Baptist Church, where he has participated in the adult choir and served multiple terms as a deacon.

Dr. Barrett has always viewed dentistry not simply as a profession, but as a privilege. Throughout his career, he has cared for some families through three generations and considers many of his patients part of his extended family.

The Personal Side

Outside the office, Dr. Barrett enjoys playing golf, working in his yard, playing guitar, and following his grandchildren in their sports and activities throughout high school and college.
